All About A Cabbage Soup Diet:
If your target is to loose weight in a very short period of time and you don't want to get too much entangled in a disciplinary bondage, then the Cabage Soup Diet plan is probably the best for you.
It is a recipe perfect for a fast weight loss and can be modified to your personal likings also. You will need 6 large green onions, 2 green peppers, 1 or 2 cans of tomatoes. The tomatoes can be either whole or diced. You can add 3 fresh chopped carrots, 1 container mushrooms equivalent to about 10 ounces, 1 bunch of celery, half a head of cabbage, 1 packet of Lipton soup mix, seasonings according to taste such as salt, pepper, parsley, curry and garlic powder.
To enhance the taste you can also add 1 or 2 cubes of bouillon and/or a 48oz can of V8 juice. However, these two are optional and their addition would depend totally upon your personal preferences.
So, how do you convert these ingredients into the soup of your liking? For this, you first slice the green onions and sauté with cooking spray in a pot. Then cut out the ends of the green pepper stems and cut them in half. Take out the seeds and the membranes. Then, after cutting these into bite-sized pieces, put them in the pot. After this, cut out the outer layers of the cabbage. After cutting into bite-sized pieces add it to the pot. Similarly, the carrots also must be cut into bite-sized pieces after washing and added. Mushrooms will also be added now to the other ingredients. They can be cut thin or thick as per your liking. If you want your soup to be spicy you can add small amounts of curry pepper or cayenne pepper to it. Beef and/or chicken bouillons can be added for seasoning. They will add the right flavors which will make the soup more delicious. Lastly, add about 12 cups of water and after covering put the heat on low. You can also add 8 cups of water along with 4 cups of the V8 juice. Let it now cook for a long time. After two hours, add salt and pepper powder to taste and your delicious soup is ready. Now, as far as the guidelines are concerned remember that this plan must be followed only for 7 days at a stretch with a 2 weeks gap between each trial. The first day, eat only fruits (except bananas) and stuff yourself. Day two is reserved for vegetables. Day three is a mix of days one and two. No baked potato on this day. The fourth day is only for banana and skimmed milk. The fifth day is only for beef/chicken without skin (but not both) and tomatoes. Day six is again reserved for beef and vegetables, but no baked potatoes. Finally, the last day is for rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables. Remember to drink your soup on all these days. If you keep using the Cabbage Soup Diet regularly, you will certainly be able to reduce very soon. Regaining your previous health will not be a problem at all.
